Hafiz is a Quran memorization app for iPhone. Your privacy matters — Hafiz is designed to be private, calm, and focused. The app does not sell your data, does not show ads, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Hafiz does not collect personal data from users.
The app does not require an account, name, email address, phone number, or profile.
Hafiz may store your memorization progress, preferences, downloaded audio, favorites, reading settings, and app settings locally on your device.
This data is used only to make the app work properly and to preserve your progress.
Hafiz can sync your progress, plans, and settings through Apple iCloud using your own Apple account, privately, in your personal iCloud database. Hafiz does not receive or manage your Apple ID or iCloud account information.
The Madani Classic mushaf ships with the app and works offline. Other content is downloaded on demand from public sources: cdn.jsdelivr.net (mushaf fonts and tafsir libraries), cdn.islamic.network (per-ayah audio), everyayah.com (fallback source for per-ayah audio), mp3quran.net (surah audio), and api.alquran.cloud (Quran text editions).
These providers may log standard request data, such as your IP address. Hafiz sends them no personal information.
Optional support purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Hafiz does not receive or store your payment card details.
Hafiz uses anonymous, privacy-first usage analytics (TelemetryDeck) to understand which features are used. It relies on a hashed device identifier — never a name, account, email, or advertising ID.
Hafiz does not use third-party advertising trackers.
Hafiz does not track you across apps or websites.
Hafiz does not sell or share your personal data.
If crash reporting is added in the future, it will be used only to identify and fix technical problems. It will not be used for advertising or tracking.
Hafiz is designed for general users who want to memorize and revise the Qur'an. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
